Privacy Policy

RouteCaster collects account information you provide (such as email), route and usage data needed to operate the service, and diagnostic data you optionally send (for example error reports). Third-party providers (maps, weather, hosting, analytics if enabled) may process data according to their policies.

You may request a copy of your data or ask questions by contacting privacy@routecaster.app. Authenticated users can export their route data from account settings where available.

Information we collect

We collect information you provide when you create an account (such as email address and username), content you create in the app (routes, saved places, preferences), technical data (device type, app version, IP address, and logs), and optional diagnostics or support messages you send us.

How we use information

We use this data to provide and improve RouteCaster, personalize your experience, secure accounts, analyze usage in aggregate, comply with law, and communicate with you about the service. We do not sell your personal information.

Sharing and processors

We use subprocessors for hosting, maps, weather, email, error monitoring (e.g. Sentry), and payments when enabled. Their processing is governed by their respective policies and our agreements with them. A current list can be provided on request.

Retention and your choices

We retain data as long as your account is active and as needed for legal, security, and operational purposes. You may request access, correction, export, or deletion of your account data where the product supports it (e.g. account settings). Contact us at the address above for other requests.
